The Johnston Development Corporation promotes the business interests of Edgefield County with a specific focus on the town of Johnston, which is known as the Peach Capital of the World.
The Corporation works to aid the community in areas such as economic development, education, recreation, historic preservation, tourism, scientific and cultural opportunities, and continued promotion of Johnston.
Each year, we host the Christmas Celebration and the popular Peach Blossom Festival.
